Born in 2004 Inca is the only female at present (not that she lets that bother her!). She has no intention of working but hopefully will make a good mum (May 2009 - fingers crossed). She came to us with her little brother from a private breeder in the south of Scotland.
Likes: food - especially carrots Dislikes: working!
Ziggy is Incas baby brother and was born in 2005. He is very much the joker in the herd and loves nothing better than to get up to all sorts of mischief and annoy the others (which he is very good at). At just over 3 years of age he is just starting to grow up (in theory!)
Likes: making mischief Dislikes: Being left behind
Nacho is our baby and was born in 2006 at East Links Farm Park in Dunbar. He is quite quiet and gentle but gets very worried at feeding time incase he gets forgotten about.
Likes: Inca! Dislikes: Being left behind
Philippe
Philippe is our biggest llama. He came to us from Wellington Lodge Llamas in England, along with his "friend" Pablo. Philippe really is a gentle giant and loves to pose for photographs when we are out.
Likes: herbal horse treats (a lot!) Dislikes: sharing the herd leadership with Pablo
Pablo
Pablo is the quiet hard working member of the group. He likes his own company and takes his job very seriously. Pablo and Philippe have a love/hate relationship as they both think that they should be the leaders of the herd.
Likes: Working and getting out and about Dislikes: sharing the herd leadership with Philippe
Sheepy
"Sheepy" is the last member of the herd. Strictly speaking she is not a llama - but try telling her that! She was rescued and looks as if she has been through the wars, with only one eye, one horn and no teeth. What she lacks in looks she makes up for in brains. She of course does not come trekking with us - but stays to guard the stables when we are out.
